Head of Data Science (Fort Lee)

A growing organisation in the health insurance sales and marketing sector is seeking a Head of Data Science to lead advanced analytics initiatives that drive performance across the entire customer sales funnel. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on leveraging data science to improve marketing effectiveness, customer segmentation, and business growth while partnering closely with executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead advanced data science and analytics initiatives across the customer acquisition and sales lifecycle.
• Develop predictive models and analytical solutions to optimise marketing performance and business outcomes.
• Drive customer segmentation, market analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
• Partner with executive leadership and C-suite stakeholders to deliver strategic insights and recommendations.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable data science solutions.
• Analyse data across multiple product categories to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.

• Champion best practices in data science, analytics, and machine learning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on marketing analytics.
• Proven leadership experience managing advanced analytics or data science initiatives.
• Strong experience with customer segmentation, marketing analytics, and market analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and Databricks.
• Experience presenting analytical insights to executive and C-suite stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience within the health insurance, healthcare, insurance, or related industries is advantageous.
