Senior Project Engineer Department: Civil/Municipal Employment Type: Full Time Location: West Union, IA Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000 / year Description Senior Project Engineer - Municipal Fehr Graham is a fast-growing engineering and environmental firm looking for a motivated Senior Project Engineer-Municipal to join our team. We want someone who can inspire and lead a team toward success, with technical skills and a passion for transportation, private development, stormwater, or hydraulic modeling projects. What you’ll do Lead and coordinate project design efforts Apply engineering principles and judgment Review and validate calculations, plans and reports Identify and resolve discrepancies Proactively address project challenges Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted technical advisor Collaborate with project managers to meet schedules, budgets and quality standards Guide and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering professional growthRepresent the firm in client meetings and presentations What it takes Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. If you have eight or more years of experience in civil design and project management, preferably at a professional consulting firm, we want to talk. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required, or the ability to obtain reciprocity.
