Project Engineer
Dunnet Bay Construction Co
The Project Engineer is responsible for providing engineering and project support on our heavy highway construction projects. The engineer is expected to maintain a good knowledge of the contract plans and specifications, including subcontracts and purchase orders, and Dunnet Bay Construction Company means and methods. Qualified individuals will have engineering experience with bridge construction projects for owners such as IDOT and the IL Tollway. Works with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foreman and Crews on the project. Schedule and manage material deliveries – ensure that materials received are accompanied by proper certifications per the contract documents. Compile and maintain project documentation, including daily reports/schedules and job site photos Monitor subcontractors schedule and progress. Order/Manage / Balance concrete pours. Assist with project closeout, finalizing quantities, and preparing job cost reports. Follows Dunnet Bay Construction Company’s policies and procedures, including safety policies.
