Cardiac Mechanical Support Coordinator

Must have experience as a VAD Coordinator. Shift: 5x8Hs 7am-3:30p (or 6:30a-3p) Monday - Friday. Weekend REQ: 1 weekend/month + 1 weekday of call. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes. Years of experience REQ: two years work experience as a registered nurse. Prefer a minimum of 1 year clinical work experience in managing advanced heart failure patients. *** 1 year CTICU is a plus ** First-timers accepted: yes. License REQ: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License in hand. Certs REQ: BLS Experience Required: Durable MCS (HM 3, Heartware, BrioVAD), IABP, Impella Devices ***VAD coordinator - needs to have strong cardiac background and VAD, IABP and IMPELLA exp. The role of this individual will be to round on both inpatient/outpatient individuals. They are to service/troubleshoot devices both inpatient and in clinic. They are considered SMEs. They NEED to have appropriate knowledge of the devices and feel comfortable with them. Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs. Local radius: 60 miles. Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate. RTO Restrictions: If a candidate is a clinical PASS, the account manager can auto offer a traveler that has 7 days or less of NON-HOLIDAY RTO. Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holidays will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process. Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
