Quality Engineer SUMMARY:Quality Engineer primary focus is on NPD (New Product Development) team and to ensure quality engineering throughout the development process and meeting customer’s requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (may include but not limited to) Candidate functioning as expert for the below:Quality engineering will create, execute, and teach advanced design quality practices. (APQP) Design assurance and working with NPD team and implement DFMEA’s and risk analysis sessions within NPD groupUnderstand design intent and ensure all aspects are met in relation to the machine specificationsVerify that all product components are functioning as they should and in compliance with blueprints and carefully engineered design plans.Lead process for safety reviews & process for CE certification Work with product support and production to get feedback on field issues and reported manufacturing issues Drive organization to use 8D and 5Y problem resolution tools Have a passion for quality and drive rigorous solutions.
