Responsibilities Work Monday–Friday 12:00PM‑9:00PM; occasional Saturdays 7:30AM‑12:30PM as needed. Provide integrated, proactive, Patient First experiences; investigate, classify, and resolve patient issues using the HEART model. Create a welcoming and professional environment; interact with patients and ensure stellar experiences. Perform patient registration, visit preparation, telephone triage, insurance verification, copay collection, patient follow‑up, record maintenance, scheduling, arrival/departure activities, and screening and scheduling of interpreter services. Support front‑end technology usage to promote understanding and comfort for caregivers and providers. Enter and maintain confidential patient information. Recruit, enroll, and educate patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass. Process daily workflow and participate in proactive patient outreach, including proactive phone calls to assist with health maintenance and care compliance. Qualifications High‑school diploma or GED and two years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing, or customer service; OR associate degree and one year of experience; OR bachelor’s degree. Proficient in Windows PC applications enough to enter and retrieve data. Ability to perform basic math to process insurance copays. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Preferred: medical terminology knowledge; typing at least 30 words per minute or demonstrated typing proficiency; experience with medical office systems; experience in customer service in a medical setting; bilingual Spanish skills. Physical Requirements Ability to operate a PC and other office equipment. Extended periods of standing, walking, or sitting. Good visual acuity, normal or corrected. Capability to navigate multiple locations and function in a fast‑paced, chaotic environment. Ability to lift and transport up to 25 lbs.
