Phlebotomist

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist. The primary responsibilities include drawing blood from patients in a hospital setting while ensuring excellent customer service and accurate data entry into the laboratory system.

Key Responsibilities

• Draw blood from patients of all ages in a hospital environment.
• Manage a high volume of blood draws, often exceeding 30 patients in a day.
• Provide excellent customer service to each patient.
• Work with test codes and patient demographic information, entering data into a computerized laboratory system.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience in a non-donor setting.
• Ability to spend extensive time on feet with significant walking required.

Additional Requirements

MUST be willing/able to work every other weekend and holidays, as the hospitals operate 24/7, 365.

Schedule/Shift

Day Shift: 4am-2:30pm (4x10s), rotating days/weekends/holidays.

Overnight Shift: 8pm-6:30am, (4x10s), rotating days/weekends/holidays.

Skills

• Proficiency with computers and navigating different programs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
