Regional Property ManagerDallas, TX (remote, with travel across the portfolio) $110,000 – $130,000+ / yearOverviewThis is a regional leadership role overseeing a multi-property portfolio across the Dallas and broader Southwest market, spanning both market-rate and B/C class assets. It's a remote-based position with regular travel to properties — a good fit for someone who's ready to move from running one site to running a portfolio.What You'll DoProvide operational oversight across multiple properties throughout the Dallas/Southwest regionSupport and hold accountable each site's on-site Community Manager and teamReview property-level budgets, financial performance, and variance across the portfolioSet and monitor occupancy, leasing, and revenue goals at the portfolio levelTravel regularly to properties for site visits, audits, and hands-on supportStep in directly on underperforming assets to diagnose and fix operational issuesCoordinate with ownership/asset management on capital planning and portfolio strategyRecruit, train, and develop on-site management talent across the portfolioEnsure consistent compliance with fair housing and landlord-tenant law across all sitesWhy You MatterA portfolio only performs as well as its weakest property — this role exists to catch problems early, keep every site accountable to the same standard, and make sure the numbers add up across the whole region, not just one building.What It Takes5-7+ years of property management experience, including prior multi-site or regional-level responsibilityComfortable managing across both market-rate and B/C class assetsStrong financial acumen — budgets, variance analysis, and portfolio-level reportingProven ability to lead and develop on-site managers, not just review their numbersWilling and able to travel regularly across the Dallas/Southwest regionFamiliar with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, or similar)Comfortable stepping into a struggling property and turning it aroundStrong grasp of fair housing law and landlord-tenant regulationsValid driver's license and reliable transportationThe Perks!$110,000–$130,000+/year, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance bonusBCBS health, dental, and vision401(k)10 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday, PTO$2,500 education assistance
