Registered Nurse - Telemetry

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry. The nurse will work in a progressive care unit. The nurse will monitor patients with cardiac conditions. The typical patient ratio is 1:5-6. The position requires scheduled shifts every other weekend. The nurse will float within the telemetry service line as needed. The nurse will be responsible for administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Effective communication with interdisciplinary teams is essential. The environment requires dedication to patient safety and quality care. Candidates must have experience working with adult patients in a telemetry or progressive care setting. Completion of required training and compliance documentation is expected.

Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: MO or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - 2 years of telemetry experience - Skills in interpretation of dysrhythmias - Ability to manage dysrhythmias - Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE - Competence in nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management - Experience with peripheral line care and management
