Industrial Electrician

ElectricianThe Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in compliance with the National Electrical Code. This includes interpreting blueprints and schematics, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met across construction and industrial job sites. As such the following values guide our behaviors: A Servant's Heart -- Focus on the Needs of Others, Wisdom -- Insightful, Integrity -- Honesty and Trustworthy, Courage -- Decisive and Confident in Others, Humility -- Modest and Respectful, Passion -- Unfailing Dedication.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstallation, Maintenance, & Repair:Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical systems in construction applications and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipmentInstall, repair, and maintain motors, transformers, generators, lighting systems, circuits, and other electrical componentsUtilize hand and power tools along with electronic testing equipmentInterpretation & Compliance:Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, manuals, specifications, and work orders to determine project requirements and the sequence of workEnsure all work complies with the National Electrical Code and company safety and quality standardsUse and maintain electrical and electronic test equipment properly and safelyCommunication & Documentation:Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasksUtilize electronic systems to submit time records, complete safety reports, and document work progressSafety/Hazard Recognition & Elimination:Pre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task.Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others and bringing it to their attention.Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company. Support goal of achieving zero accidents.Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed.Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.Qualifications and RequirementsHigh School Diploma (or equivalent) requiredCompletion of electrical apprenticeship program preferredElectrical installation experience preferredPositive safety attitude and personal integrity -- both are non-negotiableMust have a desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediatelyAbility to self-start, display solid work ethic, and respect othersPhysical RequirementsTravel to various construction sites is essential, exposing employee to outdoor elements, noise, and the need to stand and walk. Other requirements may include the ability to kneel, crawl, bend, climb ladders, reach and handle with fingers, and differentiate colors.Ability to maintain a consistent workload that may involve significant physical manual labor.
