Responsibilities The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) practices in collaboration with a licensed physician pursuant to a collaborative practice agreement. The advanced practice provider will be responsible for clinical management for an assigned patient population. The CNM will enhance the quality of care through education and advanced nursing knowledge, collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team, and act as liaison between the nursing care and medical teams. There is collaboration with our affiliated, in-house neonatologists and NNPs in a 63‑bed, level‑III NICU. Additionally, our Pediatrix Medical Group maternal‑fetal medicine specialists are available for high‑risk pregnancies.
