Job Description:

- Deliver coordinated nursing care to patients using established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff.
- Collaborate with diverse healthcare disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment.
- Collect and analyze pertinent health data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
- Develop and implement care plans with prescribed interventions to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
- Coordinate care delivery to promote health in a safe and healing environment.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care.
- Offer learning opportunities for patients and families, enhancing their overall experience.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately and organize the duties of healthcare team members.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Two or more years of recent nursing experience in an acute care facility: Preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Required
- Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI): Required
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification: Required
