VP Legal Entity Controller & Regulatory Reporting

I'm working with a leading global financial services firm that is looking to add a VP, Legal Entity Controller & Regulatory Reporting to its finance leadership team. This is a high-impact role supporting the firm's U.S. broker‑dealer and Security‑Based Swap Dealer (SBSD) business, with responsibility for legal entity control, U.S. GAAP financial reporting, SEC/FINRA/CFTC regulatory reporting, and finance transformation initiatives. What you'll be doing: Own month‑end and quarter‑end close for the legal entity Lead U.S. GAAP financial reporting and broker‑dealer financial statements Oversee SEC, FINRA, and CFTC regulatory reporting, including Net Capital and Customer Reserve reporting Partner with Product Control, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Technology, and Accounting Policy on new products and business initiatives Drive system implementations, process improvements, automation, and control enhancements Support regulatory and external audits while strengthening the firm's reporting infrastructure What they're looking for: 8+ years of accounting, legal entity control, or regulatory reporting experience within financial services Strong knowledge of broker‑dealer regulatory reporting and U.S. GAAP Experience with broker‑dealers, derivatives, swaps, security‑based swaps, prime brokerage, or capital markets products Big Four background is highly preferred Experience leading projects, system implementations, or finance transformation initiatives is a plus This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly visible finance team where you'll work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in the continued growth and evolution of the firm's regulatory reporting and finance infrastructure. #J-18808-Ljbffr Atlas Search
