Lead Field Service Technician

Open to candidates based in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, or Eastern NY., United States | req29602 What you will enjoy doing You will provide leadership and guidance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of nitrogen producing plants at customer sites And you will assist with and direct training and development of new technicians Solve field site issues and operate air separation plants with minimal supervision Interact with customers across various production plant types, offering guidance, support, and clear communication Further, you will maintain safety, quality, and compliance activities at each plant location to uphold high standards Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on compressors, gas analyzers, and control systems You will manage time effectively to complete operations, maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and diagnosing plant problems Coordinate contractors and resources to support plant activities, audits, and administrative requirements while driving efficiency through strategic planning and project management What makes you great You hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, with post‑secondary technical education or relevant work experience preferred Demonstrate strong practical skills and knowledge of production processes, plant equipment, and emergency procedures You can apply expertise in instrumentation, control, mechanical, and electrical maintenance of industrial equipment Exhibit strong safety awareness and strictly follow procedures while troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipment Communicate technical information clearly in verbal and written form, understanding process control schematics You can utilize proficiency in computers, Microsoft applications, and process control systems, supported by strong organizational and time management skills Meet physical requirements including confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to fifty pounds, and working at heights Must show flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and call‑in coverage, ensuring a reliable and safety‑focused presence during critical operational periods Benefits Linde offers competitive compensation and an outstanding benefits package. The salary range listed reflects the national range; final offer will depend on location and qualifications.
