Gold Coast Baking Company is seeking a full-time Maintenance Coordinator in Santa Ana, CA. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this non-exempt role supports the Maintenance/Engineering department by planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily maintenance activities to ensure smooth operations and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, prioritize, assign, and track work orders through completion
• Maintain and update the preventive maintenance schedule
• Issue recurring work orders to support ongoing maintenance needs
• Coordinate efforts between in-house technicians and outside contractors
• Support purchase orders, service confirmations, and vendor records management
• Manage maintenance data entry and parts inventory control
• Prepare maintenance reports and metrics, including backlog, PM completion, downtime, and spend
• Assist with compliance and audit documentation for OSHA, AQMD, SQF, and similar requirements
• Provide limited administrative support to other departments as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent communication, organization, scheduling, and follow-through abilities
• Ability to coordinate with vendors effectively
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize competing requests in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Experience with CMMS systems, preferably UpKeep
