This is a key role within SAI assuming complete accountability for projects from start of project to shipment and post-shipment service. The Project Manager plays a critical account management role to maintain and grow business partnership with each customer. Hence, this role focuses on meeting SAI and customer key performance indicators (KPI) namely on budget, on time, on spec. This role has a thorough understanding of customer needs and pain points and directs all cross-functional teams to deliver against KPI and customer expectations. In other words, this role becomes the voice of the customer to SAI and voice of SAI to the customer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Accountable for the project from start to finish. Including leading cross functional teams, and account management with key customers. Responsible for developing the project plan, complete with a defined scope of work for all required functional departments and working with cross-functional teams and direct functional managers to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget, and scope. Develops strategic customer relationships to grow business growth. These include establishing quarterly business reviews (QBRs), customer reviews, customer leadership meetings, customer visits to SAI etc. Actively collaborates with engineering teams and order management to standardize panels, boxes, and an other product structure that can simplify complexity, reduce cost and accelerate lead times. Supports business unit leader to identify growth opportunities and improve business profitability Completes project closeouts with root cause analysis, identifies and executes continuous improvement opportunities. Actively monitors project schedule focusing on key milestones and associated timelines Develop communication plan and keep regular and proactive communication with customer Review and maintain project financials/budgets. Identify project risk and use appropriate methods to maintain a project’s critical path. Assist in other aspects of cost control and provide data for purposes of improved estimating and job budgeting. Execute, control & maintain project scope, sponsors, schedule, resources and deliverables. Regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this job

Education and/or Experience Associates or Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge and Skills: Must be able to read, write and converse fluently in English with the level of competency that will permit the applicant to function in the position, (i.e, communicating with vendors, customers and employees). Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to type at least 60 words per minute. Working knowledge of basic office equipment that may include dictation equipment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good attitude, team player, good attendance, hard worker.
