Location Katy - 7303 Prairie Lakeshore Lane, Elyson Job Description Position Summary The Onsite Leasing Ambassador – Build-to-Rent (BTR) is responsible for delivering an exceptional prospective resident experience while supporting the daily leasing operations of assigned Build-to-Rent communities. This role serves as the face of the community by welcoming prospects, conducting tours, responding to inquiries, and supporting leasing activities that drive occupancy and resident satisfaction goals. The position supports operational readiness by ensuring homes and community spaces are prepared for leasing activities and aligned with company presentation standards. The role requires strong customer service skills, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Essential Job Functions Functional Responsibilities Welcome prospective residents and provide professional community and home tours Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person communication in a timely and professional manner Provide accurate information regarding community features, pricing, availability, leasing terms, and application processes Ensure model homes, amenity areas, and community spaces are prepared and maintained for daily leasing activities Assist prospective residents through the leasing process, including follow-up communication and application support Maintain strong knowledge of community offerings, leasing procedures, and company policies Operational / Departmental Support Utilize property management and CRM systems to track prospect activity, leasing traffic, and resident communications Assist with maintaining accurate prospect, applicant, and leasing records Support leasing and marketing initiatives designed to drive occupancy and resident engagement Coordinate with onsite operations and maintenance teams to ensure homes are ready for tours and move-ins Support community events, outreach efforts, and resident engagement activities as needed Maintain organized leasing materials, reports, and operational documentation Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and applicable real estate laws Maintain confidentiality of resident and applicant information Follow company leasing policies, operational procedures, and documentation standards Ensure accurate and timely completion of leasing-related documentation and communications Escalate resident or prospect concerns to leadership as appropriate Financial / Performance Accountability Support occupancy and leasing goals through effective prospect engagement and follow-up Contribute to lease conversion efforts and community stabilization initiatives Assist with maintaining accurate leasing records and operational reporting Support customer satisfaction and reputation management efforts through professional service delivery Contribute to achievement of monthly leasing targets and performance metrics Leadership / Collaboration Collaborate with Community Managers, onsite teams, and centralized departments to support leasing success Promote a positive, customer-focused environment aligned with company values and service standards Communicate effectively with prospects, residents, vendors, and internal team members Support team initiatives and operational goals across the assigned community Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in all interactions and responsibilities Additional Responsibilities Serve as an onsite leasing representative for assigned Build-to-Rent communities Assist with special projects, leasing events, and operational initiatives as assigned Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives Performance Expectations & Key Metrics Performance will be evaluated based on measurable outcomes aligned with company and departmental goals. Metrics may include: Achievement of assigned monthly leasing goals, subject to property availability Prospect conversion and follow-up responsiveness Resident and prospect satisfaction scores Accuracy and timeliness of leasing documentation and system updates Community presentation and tour readiness standards Compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations Effectiveness of communication and customer service delivery Required Qualifications Education Associate degree preferred Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in real estate, leasing, sales, property management, or customer service required Experience in Build-to-Rent or multifamily leasing environments preferred Skills & Competencies Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Working knowledge of CRM and property management systems preferred Ability to thrive in high-volume, customer-facing environments Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and leasing best practices preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience in Build-to-Rent (BTR), multifamily, or residential leasing operations Working knowledge of QuickBase, MRI, CMS, and Birdeye Reputation Management platforms Experience with resident engagement and customer relationship management tools Familiarity with leasing performance metrics and occupancy goals Prior experience supporting lease-up or new community operations Outstanding Benefits Backed by Brookfield, our benefits include a 5% 401(k) match, wellness credits that reduce healthcare costs, and up to 160 hours of PTO annually for full-time employees.
