About the Company
The Ocenco Group is a collection of manufacturing companies that engineer, build and sell various types of personnel safety equipment for military, railway, maritime, mining, public safety, and industrial markets globally. We have a total of 17 operations in 14 different countries. We are privately held and headquartered in Pleasant Prairie, WI.
About the Role
This Inside Sales Representative responds to Request for Quotes (RFQ) or Request for Proposals (RFP) from Ocenco Incorporated customers worldwide, generating contracts for the sale of products and services. The scope of work involves receiving inquiries, communicating with customers, inputting orders, and tracking the order through delivery. Additional tasks include contract management and market research.
Responsibilities
- Request quotations from shipping and freight forwarding companies. Provide support for Quote and fulfillment requests.
- Communicate with the prospective customer to understand appropriate product configuration requirements and objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, purchasing, and production, to ensure proposal accuracy and feasibility.
- Assist in contract generation and management, ensuring all terms and conditions align with company policies and customer expectations.
- Proactively follow up with customers to address questions, inform of order status from production to final delivery, and address any complaints or shipping concerns.
- Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure accurate billing and timely collection from customers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and relevant documentation in CRM and ERP systems.
- Stay current with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive offerings to effectively position Ocenco's products in the market.
- Creating sales orders through the ERP system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience in sales, inside sales, or customer service is a plus.
