Collections Specialist

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Based on the Monthly Aging, place direct phone calls and E-mails to customers that are past due
- Works closely with the Billing Department
- Coordinate with the service department to collect past due balances
- Relays to Owners/Controller bad debt issues
- Provide Administrative support to all personnel
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- High School diploma (or G.E.D.)
- College degree is preferred
- This position requires the incumbent to have at least 2 years of experience in collecting, accounts receivable
- This position requires good written, oral and reading communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word, and Excel) is required
- This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel
- Applicant must be able to multitask oriented, organized, set priorities and meet deadlines and take pride in one’s work
