MAC Engineer
$35 - $53 per hourInsight Global
Schedule/location : onsite in NYC 5x week - 35 hour work week
Job Type : FTE permanent opportunity
Hourly Rate: $35-53/hr - eligible for OT hours (this is an hourly paid position but still an FTE role)
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years managing macOS in an enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro (administration and lifecycle management)
- Strong knowledge of macOS provisioning, and device management
- Experience with Apple Business Manager and zero-touch deployments
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash required; Python or Zsh preferred)
- Experience managing OS updates, patching, and application deployments Understanding of endpoint security controls, compliance, and FileVault encryption
- Ability to troubleshoot complex macOS issues and support escalations
- JAMF 200 certification
Description:
The Mac Systems Engineer designs, implements, and supports enterprise Apple endpoint management with a strong focus on Jamf Pro. This role ensures secure, automated, and scalable lifecycle management of macOS devices while delivering a seamless end-user experience. The engineer partners closely with security, infrastructure, and end-user computing teams to maintain compliance, improve automation, and support a modern Apple environment.
