We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join a real estate and property organization in Richardson, Texas on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent role. This position supports core accounting operations by managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure timely processing across payables, receivables, and billing activities. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound analytical ability, and a practical understanding of day-to-day accounting workflows.

Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and coordinate timely payment activities to maintain accurate accounts payable records.
• Manage customer invoicing and cash application tasks while monitoring outstanding balances and supporting accounts receivable follow-up efforts.
• Perform regular account reconciliations to identify discrepancies, research variances, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Support billing operations by preparing charges, reviewing transaction accuracy, and helping ensure invoices are issued correctly.
• Maintain organized financial records and update accounting data to support accurate reporting and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with internal teams to investigate transaction questions, clarify account activity, and improve day-to-day accounting accuracy.
• Assist with general accounting tasks, including journal-related support and routine review of financial activity across assigned accounts.• Experience working in an accounting support or accounting analyst role.
• Practical knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes.
• Ability to complete account reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with standard accounting systems and spreadsheet tools.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
• Background in general accounting functions within a business environment.
