Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (0645 start)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float to Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care, and other assigned units as needed; must be flexible with changing assignments during the shift
• Monitor telemetry patients and manage ventilatory support equipment including BIPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, and Draeger
• Collaborate with CNA support staff, charge nurses, respiratory therapy (24/7), and pharmacy (24/7)
• Participate in rotating holiday schedules with permanent staff and fulfill every-other-weekend requirements
• Adhere to on-call low census requirements as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS or NIHSS certification required (Med/Surg)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience with at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with BIPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, and/or Draeger ventilatory support
• Experience floating across multiple units including Ortho/Neuro and Oncology
• Familiarity with PICC line care (no dedicated IV team on site)
