Part-Time Dental Hygienist (RDH) Valley Dental Works | Happy Valley, Oregon

Up to $68/hour DOE | $2,000 Sign-On Bonus | New Grads Welcome

Valley Dental Works is looking for a patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team in Happy Valley, conveniently located just minutes from SE Portland.

As a Dental Hygienist, you'll play an important role in helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. You'll have the opportunity to provide quality preventive care, educate patients, support periodontal health, and build lasting relationships with the people you care for.

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including scaling and polishing
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Take dental X-rays as needed
• Perform periodontal charting and communicate findings with the dental team
• Collaborate with the dentist regarding patient treatment and periodontal needs
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
• Follow sterilization, OSHA, and infection control protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
• Stay current with dental hygiene techniques, technology, and best practices

• Active Oregon Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
• Dental hygiene degree from an accredited program
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member
• Organized, dependable, and professional
• Previous dental experience preferred
• New graduates are welcome to apply
