Director, Alternative Site of Care Strategy Lead

Intellia Therapeutics seeks a Director to lead alternative site-of-care strategy, developing and executing approaches for engaging independent infusion providers. This cross-functional leadership role requires strategic planning, provider relationship management, and coordination across commercial, medical, and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic owner of the ASOC channel, defining prioritization criteria and onboarding roadmap for independent infusion providers
• Lead direct outreach, relationship-building, and contract negotiations with independent infusion providers to expand the network
• Act as connective tissue across internal functions to ensure aligned execution across sales, marketing, medical, patient services, and operations
• Track and report progress on operationalization plan, including timing, budget, and risks to launch targets
• Provide regular updates to VP of Sales and governance bodies on channel progress, budget, and risks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MHA, or related advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years biotech/pharma commercial experience in specialty pharmacy, infusion services, or site-of-care strategy
• Demonstrated success building or scaling new channels, programs, or networks involving external provider contracting
• Direct experience working with alternative sites of care or independent infusion providers
• Ability to lead complex, matrixed initiatives without direct authority over contributing teams
• Strong negotiation and contracting skills with comfort partnering on legal and market access terms
• Willingness to travel extensively (40–60%) nationally to engage providers
