Job Description You will be the Manufacturing Engineer (Electronics Fabrication, Level 2) for the Missiles & Fire Control Manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for developing and supporting manufacturing processes for electrical components within the MFC electrical shop. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Engineer (Electronics Fabrication, Level 2) you will be responsible for delivering robust, repeatable processes that enable high-quality wiring and harness assemblies. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening,
Technical Writing.
- Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and translate into work instructions.
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Process Improvement experience
- Experience creating manufacturing plans and work instructions
- This facility requires special access; therefore, you must be a US Citizen.
- Have an existing clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance. Desired skills - Experience with Standards (AS 91000 / AS9102), IPC, J-STD, and MIL-STSD specifications
- Experience with disposition of non-conforming products and with root cause/corrective action definition.
- Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement.
- Ability to liaison between Production
- SAP ERP Experience
