Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Registered Nurse – Med/SurgNight shifts from 18:45 to 07:15, with the option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend requirements are every other weekend.Contracts are available for 13-26 weeks. The maximum allowable request time off (RTO) is 7 days.RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry.Certification in BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred.Experience with telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.Proficiency in bowel obstruction care, colostomy/ileostomy management, and feeding tube management.Knowledge of renal failure management, blood product administration, and central line management.Experience with wound care, including Vacuum-Assisted Closure (VAC) therapy.Familiarity with oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management.Ability to float to other units as needed.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care and monitor patient conditions.Administer medications and manage intravenous lines, including starting and maintaining IVs.Conduct assessments and document patient care accurately.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.Participate in rapid response teams and code blue situations as required.Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-discharge care.BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance After 90 DaysAccrued PTOContinuing Education through TLC Academy & Relias TrainingReferral Bonus up to $1,000401(k) with MatchAccess to Purchase AflacEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Discounts on Travel and Retail through Employee Discount NetworkLife InsuranceTLC ShiftShield income protection for eligible travelers between assignmentsCompliance / NotesCandidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting the position.
