Distribution Associate II / Forklift - 2nd Shift Hiring a Distribution Associate to assist with warehouse distribution. The best fit is someone that has general warehouse, forklift, shipping / receiving experience. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration markets. This position is 50% Forklift and 50% Packing. Not a straight Forklift operator role. LOCATION: Romeoville, IL 60446 POSITION: Right to Hire PAY RATE: 20.00 hour HOURS: 2nd Shift - 3:00pm to 11:30pm M-F

DUTIES:

Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift. Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance. Ensure safe handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols. Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments. Organize and store inventory in designated locations. Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent work and education. Valid forklift certification. Previous forklift operating experience preferred. Good communication and teamwork skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift and move heavy items. Basic computer skills.

ABILITIES:

Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions. Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability. Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required. Effective verbal communication skills. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. #J-18808-Ljbffr Staff Perm
