PRN LPN Opportunity At Novant Health Township Pediatrics

Novant Health Township Pediatrics is seeking a PRN LPN!

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, based on clinic and staffing needs.

The Licensed Practical Nurse serves as a member of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with other team members to provide care that promotes optimal health. The Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the care of the patient during their health journey. The Licensed Practical Nurse accepts accountability for provision of care, as part of the RN led team, in accordance with the current policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits, including obtaining and documenting vital signs.
• Partner closely with providers to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care.
• Perform point-of-care testing (POCT) in accordance with established clinical protocols.
• Manage and in-basket communications, including patient messages, test results, and prescription refill requests.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program, required.
• Experience: One year of relevant experience, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Appropriate state LPN license, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Computer skills, Phone call etiquette, Organizational Skills.
