Pacific Heights Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, newly renovated two-doctor practice looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our fantastic team. You'll be the friendly face, calm voice, and organized problem-solver helping pet owners navigate their visits while keeping communication flowing between clients and our medical team. What You'll Do

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
• Deliver exceptional customer service during every client interaction
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and other client communications
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments efficiently
• Check clients and patients in and out of the hospital
• Maintain accurate and complete client and patient records
• Process payments and assist clients with invoices, estimates, and account questions
• Communicate appointment instructions, hospital updates, and follow-up information clearly and compassionately
• Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, technicians, and support team members
• Assist with prescription refill requests and other client needs according to hospital protocols
• Monitor appointment flow and help keep the hospital schedule running smoothly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Support clients through routine visits as well as stressful or emotional situations
• Take ownership of responsibilities and follow through to achieve positive outcomes
• Ask for help when you need it and readily offer help to your teammates
• Contribute to a positive, supportive environment built on teamwork and mutual respect

What You'll Bring

• Previous veterinary reception or veterinary client service experience
