Bridge Engineer

Bridge Engineer Allen, TX | Full-Time $110-140k A growing Texas-based engineering firm is looking to add a Civil/Structural Bridge Engineer to its transportation team in Allen. This is a great opportunity for an experienced bridge engineer to take on meaningful transportation projects while working closely with senior leadership and having a clear path for professional growth. The Opportunity Work on TxDOT, NTTA, ODOT and other transportation infrastructure projects Design and develop prestressed concrete girder bridges, retaining walls, culverts and miscellaneous structures Lead bridge layouts, span arrangements, superstructure and substructure design Work on drilled shafts, spread footings, piling, retaining walls and other structural elements Assist with project scopes, schedules, budgets and client coordination Develop relationships with clients and industry partners Mentor and support junior engineers Work directly alongside experienced structural leaders, gaining exposure to both technical design and project management What We're Looking For BS in Civil Engineering required; MS preferred 5-6+ years of bridge/structural design experience Texas PE required ; Oklahoma PE is a plus Strong understanding of AASHTO LRFD and TxDOT bridge design standards Experience designing prestressed concrete bridges Experience with retaining walls and miscellaneous structures Familiarity with TxDOT standards and bridge design practices Strong communication and teamwork skills Software Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: MicroStation, OpenRoads, OpenBridge, BGS, PGSUPER/BridgeLink, PSTRS14, CAP18, spColumn, LPILE, PYWALL or Midas Civil Why Join?
