If youre passionate about meaningful work and want to be part of something bigger than yourself, Caris is where your impact begins./ph3Position Summary/h3pThe Oncology Account Executive is a customer-facing sales professional responsible for driving sustained territory growth through new account acquisition and expansion of existing customer relationships. This role combines strategic prospecting, consultative selling, and high-touch account management to position Caris as the preferred partner for comprehensive tumor profiling solutions. This position builds strong clinical and operational relationships with oncologists, pathologists, and key healthcare stakeholders. The Account Executive ensures an exceptional customer experience from order initiation through report delivery while supporting adoption and utilization of Caris molecular profiling solutions. The role partners closely with Regional Business Directors, Commercial Leadership, Client Services, and cross-functional teams to execute territory growth strategies./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliDrive new account acquisition and organic growth through strategic prospecting, value-based selling, and clinical education./liliPosition Caris as a preferred or sole-source provider of tumor profiling and molecular intelligence solutions./liliAnalyze territory opportunities and develop strategic sales plans to achieve growth objectives./liliMeet or exceed assigned revenue, activity, and performance targets./li/ululliBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent in-person engagement./liliEnsure a seamless customer experience across the full order lifecycle./liliMaintain open communication with key account stakeholders and escalate issues when satisfaction is at risk./liliExecute retention strategies and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities./li/ululliEngage with oncology clinicians and allied teams across clinics, pathology labs, and hospital settings./liliSupport physicians with ordering and interpretation of the CMI platform, including access to PHI when required./liliDemonstrate and advise on technology solutions such as portals, EMR integrations, and workflows./liliMaintain strong knowledge of molecular profiling, biomarkers, and competitive offerings./li/ululliProvide consultative guidance on billing, reimbursement, and payer dynamics./liliServe as a resource on laboratory reimbursement and operational workflows./liliShare market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights with leadership./li/ululliCollaborate with Client Services, Regional Business Directors, and Commercial Leadership./liliMaintain accurate CRM documentation and complete required administrative tasks./liliMaintain assigned company assets./liliSupport meetings, conferences, and trade shows as required./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulh3Required Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors degree required./liliMinimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience./liliStrong understanding of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics./liliKnowledge of billing and reimbursement environments./liliExcellent communication and relationship-building skills./liliAbility to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment./liliProficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools./liliValid drivers license and willingness to travel regularly./liliSuccessful completion of pre-employment requirements./li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications/h3ulli5+ years of sales experience with oncology or molecular diagnostics focus./liliEstablished oncology or pathology relationships./liliFamiliarity with hospital systems and pathology networks./li/ulh3Physical Demands/h3ulliAbility to sit or stand for extended periods./liliAbility to lift routine office materials./li/ulh3Additional Information/h3ulliTravel required, including possible evenings, weekends, or holidays./li/ulh3Annual Hiring Range/h3p$125,000 - $165,000/ppActual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
