Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2100 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Southern Illinois Healthcare.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: - Patient ratios: 5:1 on days and 5-6:1 on nights; nurses may occasionally have 1 total care patient. - Primary patient populations include stroke patients who do not need TPA, comfort care/hospice patients, and post-operative patients. - Common patient needs and treatments include amputations, drains, chest tubes, feeding tubes, heparin drips, wound care, altered mental status, CIWA, AKI, dialysis, and COPD exacerbations.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend and every other holiday.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
