Tuesday night you pull into your driveway in Seguin, park the tractor and walk inside. The drive home was paid. Two days later you pick your start time and head back out. Regional intermodal work with a $10,000 sign-on bonus, where drivers average $1,538 a week.

A Week on the Road

• Start: pick a shift between 2 PM and 3 AM, set on your welcome call
• The Runs: move rail containers between customers and the Haslet and Wylie rail yards, with some runs to Memphis
• The Map: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri and Kansas
• The Freight: 75% drop and hook and 100% no touch
• The Nights: automatic sleeper tractor with a 1500 watt inverter
• Days Off: 2 every week, with the truck at home and the miles there paid

What It Pays

• $1,538 weekly average , about $80,000 a year
• $10,000 sign-on bonus , first payment after your first dispatch (eligibility terms apply)
• $0.62 to $0.68 per mile on about 2,000 miles a week
• $15 per drop and hook
• Paid home miles when you take the tractor home
• Optional 6th day when you want more (34 hour reset required before returning)

Schedule Options

• Friday to Tuesday or Thursday to Monday, out 5 and home 2

• Managers work on site in Haslet
• 24/7 driver facilities in Houston, San Antonio, Haslet, Lowell, North Little Rock and Memphis
• 100% company owned tractors, chassis and containers
• Day 1 orientation, then 3 or more days with a certified trainer

Requirements

• 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL
• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 3 months in the last 6 with one carrier, 6 months in the last 12, or 12 months in the last 5 years
• Hazmat within 180 days of orientation (we reimburse the cost and provide training modules)
• Reliable transportation and a safe place to park the tractor, or use of the Haslet yard
• No careless or reckless driving and no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years
• No DUI/DWI in 5 years and no major preventable accidents in 3 years
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing, with no failed drug or alcohol test in the last 5 years
