Assistant General Manager

We’re hiring an Assistant General Manager for one of Washington DC’s premier sports bar venues — 30+ HDTVs, a massive media wall, DJ and live entertainment programming, and the go-to destination for major sporting events and game nights in the city. This is a beverage-forward leadership role: the food program is handled by a local kitchen group so your focus is the bar, the beverage program, and delivering an elite guest experience from door to last call.
You’ll lead the bar team, own the beverage program, drive revenue through specialty entertainment nights and watch parties, manage inventory and cost controls, and partner with the GM on all venue operations. If you thrive in a high-energy, late-night, entertainment-driven environment and know how to build a bar team that shows up every night — we want to talk.
- 3+ years of bar management or AGM experience in high-volume nightlife or entertainment venues
- Deep beverage expertise: cocktail programming, spirits, draft systems, bar team leadership
- Experience managing 20 + team members in a fast-paced environment
- Strong beverage cost and inventory management skills
- DC market knowledge and sports/entertainment culture fluency a strong plus
- Nights, weekends, and major event availability required
