Exercise Physiologist

Position Overview Utilizes current peer-reviewed literature as well as an educational background from an accredited university as a foundation for proper exercise rehabilitation of cardiovascular and pulmonary patients, including all aspects of their condition. Develops individualized exercise prescriptions for each patient and oversees the implementation with a multi-faceted team of health professionals. Promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care. Primary Department, Division, or Unit UHS Cardiac Rehabilitation Binghamton Work Shift And Schedule This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager. Compensation Range $25.27 - $37.90 per hour, depending on experience Qualifications Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, or related field (minimum required) Master’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, or related (preferred) License/Certification Documentation of current CPR certification required within 1 week of employment (minimum required) ACLS certification within 3 months of employment (minimum required) American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Exercise Specialist (CES) or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) (preferred) American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) (preferred) Benefits This position is not eligible for benefits.
