Now Hiring: Adolescent Treatment Team Leader Location: California, KY 41007 Holly Hill Child and Family Solutions Adolescent Treatment Team Leaders are responsible for providing direct care and supervision of the residents in care. They maintain a therapeutic living environment and ensure all routines are followed in the cottage. This position requires you to be 21 years of age. Pay: $21.50 (0.50 increase after 6 months of employment) Job Type: Full-time Shift: Flexible schedule is required (may include nights, weekends, holidays) Primary Responsibilities Ensure a safe, therapeutic milieu by maintaining an active presence, providing support, role modeling, coaching, supervision, and guidance. Ensure that adequate staff ratios are maintained to meet the needs of all clients by appropriately filling in for shift(s) as needed. Provide support to co-workers in all areas of residential care as needed. Enforce rules, policies, and regulations of the therapeutic milieu. Utilize and oversee the proper use of crisis de-escalation interventions and physical restraining interventions in accordance with agency policy. Serve as a role model demonstrating appropriate skills of therapeutic behavior management. Ensure that staff maintains a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the milieu. Comply with emergency and crisis intervention procedures and implement them calmly and expediently. Seek to fulfill Holly Hill's mission. Comply with all agency policies and procedures. Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a high school diploma or two years of college; bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience working with vulnerable at-risk youth. 1+ year(s) experience working with at‑risk youth in a residential setting preferred. Current and valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Physical Demands Requires sitting, walking, standing, bending, stooping, crawling, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, copier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare, and communicate reports. Supports therapeutic physical restraints of youth ages 12-17 to ensure safety. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 35 pounds. Requires some exposure to chemicals and solvents. Mental Demands Must be able to establish priorities, work independently, carry out decisions and tasks, handle and resolve problems, and make effective decisions. Must remain patient with youth, communicate effectively with others professionally, maintain public contact and good interpersonal skills, and be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people. Must possess problem-solving, attention to detail, evaluating and assessing situations, analyzing and forecasting, and interpreting data.
