Must-Have: Trauma Level 1 experience

Description: Must have a certificate from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). BLS certification is required. CST on the Vascular team works 1-2 days a week and 1-2 weekends, depending on coverage needs due to PTO. Call team members are called in for endovascular procedures in the hybrid room. Experience in this area is required. No first-time travelers will be considered. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on the facility's needs. The facility is allowed to call off one shift per two weeks. Travelers cannot extend for a fourth consecutive contract. Travelers will need to begin the process of converting to employee status after working their third consecutive contract. If the traveler does not wish to convert, they will be required to take a minimum six-month separation before being eligible to return. Must have one year of experience with Epic EMR. Staff may float to other units and campuses as needed. Staff will only float to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been documented. Modules may be billable, up to a defined limit. Modules are completed pre-start and are recorded in transcripts. Time is not entered into timecards.
