Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technicians to work in our busy Emergency and Specialty departments!

Schedule: Must be able to work 12 hour shifts - 8pm-8am. Weekend & holiday availability is required.

Pay:$20.00 - $40.50 / hour. This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will:

• Provide support to various departments within the hospital including Emergency, Neurology, Oncology and Surgery.
• Triage and obtain patient history.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases.
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
