Account Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join their growing team. This role is responsible for managing and servicing an established book of business while delivering exceptional client service and maintaining strong carrier relationships. The ideal candidate is highly organized, client-focused, and knowledgeable in personal insurance products, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual will serve as a trusted resource to clients by providing coverage guidance, policy support, and proactive account management. Key Responsibilities Client Service & Account Management Manage an assigned book of Personal Lines business, including renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and account servicing. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing timely and professional service. Review client coverage needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions. Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, claims, and policy changes. Assist clients with claims reporting and serve as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers. Review policies for accuracy and coordinate corrections when necessary. Prepare and process renewal submissions and supporting documentation. Obtain and evaluate carrier quotations, coverage options, and pricing. Negotiate with carrier partners to secure competitive solutions for clients. Review renewal strategies and present recommendations to clients. Process binders, invoicing, premium financing, and policy documentation as needed. Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients. Support Producers with new business submissions, proposals, and onboarding activities. Contribute to client retention efforts and overall agency growth initiatives. Administrative & Operational Support Maintain accurate client records within AMS360 and other agency management systems. Ensure compliance with agency procedures and carrier requirements. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High school or GED High school required, Bachelors degree preferred. Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (state‑specific licensing required). 3+ years of Personal Lines Account Management experience. Experience managing a Personal Lines book of business. Strong knowledge of personal insurance coverages and carrier markets. Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills. Preferred Experience with AMS360 or similar agency management systems. Insurance designations such as CISR, CIC, CPRIA, or equivalent. Why Join Our Client?
