CNC Machinist I

We are looking for a motivated CNC Machinist I to join our growing team in St. George, Utah . What You'll Do As a CNC Machinist I, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC and manual machining equipment to manufacture high-quality precision components. You will support both production and prototype work while ensuring parts meet quality standards and delivery schedules. Responsibilities include: Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and manual machining equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Load materials, install tooling, and prepare fixtures. Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Complete production records and ERP documentation accurately. Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production personnel to solve manufacturing challenges. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support prototype and R&D projects as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Two or more years of machining experience or completion of a technical/trade school program preferred. Basic knowledge of CNC machining and machine shop practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand GD&T fundamentals. Experience using precision measuring tools. Basic shop math skills, including geometry and trigonometry. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, or SolidWorks is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude with a desire to learn and grow.
