The Opportunity

A well-established and highly respected commercial real estate investment and development firm is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its growing finance team.

This role sits at the intersection of asset management, finance, and accounting , offering broad exposure across a diverse real estate portfolio. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in financial analysis, reporting, and investment support , partnering closely with leadership to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to Asset Management, including:
• Reviewing underwriting assumptions
• Performing lease and economic analysis
• Making updates to financial models (Argus experience a plus)
• Deliver financial analysis and ad hoc reporting to support strategic decision-making
• Support capital activity and cash management , including:
• Loan draw preparation
• Equity funding requests
• Short-term cash flow forecasting
• Assist with portfolio-level financial reporting , including:
• Monthly variance analysis
• Performance tracking and summaries
• Quarterly investment reporting packages
• Partner with external stakeholders such as:
• Property accountants
• Auditors
• Tax advisors
• Support compliance and risk management , including:
• Monitoring contracts and insurance requirements
• Tracking lender and investor reporting obligations
• Perform select corporate accounting and reporting for internal entities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in commercial real estate
• Strong understanding of real estate investment concepts and financial analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Argus, Yardi, or QuickBooks is a plus
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary up to $120,000 (depending on experience)
