Fire Sprinkler Designer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Designer and potentially Manager to join our team. This role involves installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems to ensure safety compliance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, experience with drafting and design software, and a solid understanding of construction and mechanical systems. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to fire suppression systems
- Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or SolidWorks for designing or modifying system layouts
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure timely completion of projects
- Conduct system maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Prepare detailed reports on system status, modifications, and inspections
- Assist in drafting plans using CAD tools and contribute to project documentation
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed in accordance with safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience with fire sprinkler systems
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or SolidWorks
- Strong knowledge of schematics, drafting techniques, and mechanical design principles
- Familiarity with construction processes and safety standards related to fire suppression systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Experience with 2D animation is a plus for visualizing complex system layouts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to fire protection systems are advantageous
