With a team of 80+ providers, you have consistent, ongoing opportunities to pick up 12-hour day or night shifts as they fit your lifestyle.Focused Clinical Scope: Manage a daily census of 15–16 patients within a closed ICU environment where dedicated intensivists and ICU staff handle critical care.Procedural Autonomy: Perform procedures if interested. While the team does not mandate procedures, they offer retraining for physicians looking to sharpen those skills.Advanced Academic Setting: Practice within a facility hosting multiple residency (IM, FM, Anesthesia) and fellowship programs (Cardio, Critical Care).Licensure & Education: Must hold an MD or DO and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.Experience: Hospitalist experience is a plus, though high-potential new graduates will be considered.About the FacilityAscension St. Vincent Indianapolis (86th Street) is an 800+ bed facility and a designated Level 1 Trauma Center. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Education:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.Additional PreferencesInternal Medicine Focused: The program strongly prefers IM-trained physicians.
