Data Analyst

Job TitleData Integrity and Maintenance SpecialistQualificationsThe person in this role will be responsible for data integrity and data maintenance with a focus on data exceptions and validation. This person must have broad and deep hands-on experience ensuring that updated records are maintained within the University's legacy system of record for advancement data, known in-house as "Griffin". Higher education experience would be beneficial, and higher education advancement experience and knowledge would be of even greater benefit. Minimum requirements include:A college or university degree in a related field2 – 4 years of as a data analyst or equivalent work experienceAnalytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detailAbility to QA and troubleshoot dataExperience with a data loader or mass update toolStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft ExcelResponsibilitiesThis role will be responsible for leading, performing, and taking ownership of the following types of activities:Review and complete requests to update biographic and other constituent data received from UChicago staff.Ensure all data maintenance policies are strictly adhered to in order to assure the integrity of all data.Manage data for a wide range of constituent data in multiple applications.Understand and articulate the dependencies between systems and applications as it relates to constituent data.
