HVAC Install LeadThe HVAC Install Lead is responsible for leading residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish. This role oversees install crews, ensures high-quality workmanship, maintains safety standards, and delivers an excellent customer experience while meeting company performance goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage HVAC installation crews on residential projectsInstall complete HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and accessoriesEnsure installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company quality standardsRead and interpret blueprints, job layouts, and system designsCoordinate job site logistics, materials, and toolsTrain, mentor, and support install helpers and junior techniciansCommunicate professionally with homeowners and answer basic system questionsComplete job documentation, photos, and paperwork accuratelyPerform system start-ups, testing, and commissioningMaintain a clean, safe, and organized job siteIdentify potential issues and proactively recommend solutionsWork closely with dispatch, sales, and management teamsQualifications4–6+ years of residential HVAC installation experiencePrior leadership or crew-lead experience preferredStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, airflow, duct design, and controlsAbility to read wiring diagrams and installation manualsEPA Certification (required)Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawlspaces, and rooftopsPreferred Certifications (Not Required)Local or state HVAC licenseWhat We OfferCompetitive pay with performance incentivesSteady, year-round workPaid training and advancement opportunitiesCompany vehicle and toolsBenefits package (health, dental, vision, PTO, 401K plus up to 3% match)Supportive team environment with growth potentialWork ScheduleFull-time - Start 7:30AM to TBDMonday–Friday with occasional overtime as neededCompensation: $28.00 - $40.00 per hourWelcome to Royal Oak Heating & Cooling.
