Primary Care PhysicianThe Staff Pad has partnered with a mission-driven healthcare organization providing comprehensive primary care to underserved populations in Los Angeles, CA and we are looking to hire compassionate and patient-centered Primary Care Physicians (Internal & Family Medicine) to support organizational growth & meet community healthcare needs. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, you will deliver comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, screenings, immunizations, family planning, and patient education.Schedule: Full-Time | Part-Time | Per-Diem opportunities available | No call/roundingCoverage: 5 days/week | 1 evening/week as needed | 2 Saturdays/month requiredWhat You'll Do:Assess patients, order and interpret tests, and diagnose conditionsPrescribe and administer treatments, medications, and vaccinationsEducate patients on disease prevention, nutrition, and hygienePerform procedures within scope of practice and refer patients to specialists as neededProvide follow-up care for high-risk and emergency casesConduct physical exams for school, employment, and insurance requirementsProvide Family Planning services in compliance with Title X regulations & review patient chartsProvide prenatal and postnatal care (Family Planning position)Support organizational goals through patient, staff, and community engagementSupervise upto 4 Advanced Practice Practitioners and maintain required agreementsStay informed on policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsSupport team communication, goal achievement, and process improvement initiativesMaintain accurate patient documentation and medical recordsPerform additional duties and grant-funded responsibilities as assignedMeet productivity goals of 25+ patients daily & provide clinic coverage, including evenings and 26 Saturdays annuallyWhat We Are Looking For:Qualifications Required:MD or DO with Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Residency trainingActive California Medical License and DEA reimbursementBoard Certified or Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency)Relevant clinical experience within scope of training; new graduates encourage to applyBLS and PALS certifications; HIV Certification preferredExperience with EHR systems and basic computer skillsReliable transportation and flexibility to travel between clinic sites.Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for community eventsMaintain current licensures and certifications and provide verification upon requestAdditional Requirements:Strong clinical judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication, professionalism, confidentiality, and teamworkPatient-centered care with a commitment to quality and clinical excellenceExperience mentoring trainees and proficiency with EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and regulatory requirementsAbility to lift up to 25 lbs occasionallyWhy Join Us?Mission-driven care serving underserved communitiesLeadership opportunities in a collaborative team environmentNo hospital call or inpatient roundingWhat You Can Expect:Benefits: Competitive compensation + $50,000 sign-on bonusUp to $20,000 relocation assistanceMedical, Dental & Vision coverage403(b) with 4% employer matchPaid holidays and sick leave3–5 CME days + $1,000–$2,000 CME allowance (based on years of service)DEA reimbursement & FMLA benefitsIf you are passionate about delivering exceptional care, making a meaningful impact, and building a rewarding career in a supportive clinical environment, we encourage you to apply today!
