Accounts Payable Manager

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function at our Paramount headquarters. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced construction environment - you'll own the full AP workflow from invoice receipt through vendor payment, lead the effort in implementing AP and payment automation, and be the keeper of our subcontractor compliance controls. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead the AP function; manage daily workflow, quality, and compliance across the full AP cycle Lead the effort in implementing AP and payment automation - evaluate tools, coordinate integration, and manage rollout Own end-to-end AP processing: invoice capture, coding, Viewpoint Vista posting, check and ACH payment runs Manage vendor master file: W-9 collection, EFT enrollment, 1099 eligibility tracking Reconcile vendor statements monthly and resolve discrepancies quickly Administer the Corpay corporate card program: policy enforcement, receipt matching, GL coding Prepare and submit weekly payment batches - present to CFO for approval Enforce the subcontractor payment compliance gate: lien releases and insurance certs required before every payment Produce and manage AP aging reports; elevate issues to the CFO Prepare and file annual 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC filings Support month-end AP close: accruals, cutoff review, aging sign-off Be the vendor relationship point of contact - professional and responsive

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You Need 5+ years of AP experience - construction industry required (electrical, MEP, or GC) 2+ years in a senior or lead AP role Proficiency in Viewpoint Vista or comparable construction ERP Experience with Corpay software suite or other comparable AP automation platform Experience implementing AP automation software Knowledge of California lien law: conditional/unconditional waivers, preliminary notices Strong attention to detail; ability to manage high invoice volume Experience using AI to solve problems Strong written and oral communication skills Great attitude and very proactive.Take ownership of job duties. Nice to Have California public works / DIR certified payroll compliance familiarity Corporate credit card administration background Electrical or MEP contractor background specifically IOFM AP certification

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
