This travel pharmacist opportunity offers a unique blend of hospital outpatient and retail pharmacy experience, supporting a hospital-affiliated pharmacy using McKesson EnterpriseRX. Starting in early October, this assignment runs approximately 13 weeks in Nantucket, MA, providing a chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment while delivering exceptional patient care.

Schedule:

• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Day shifts within pharmacy hours of 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in both outpatient and retail settings
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and possible side effects
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Utilize McKesson EnterpriseRX to manage prescriptions and inventory

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts pharmacist license
• Strong retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Full-time availability to cover the duration of the assignment
• Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
