Business AnalystOne of the Maryland's leading largest gas and electric utility.Job DescriptionAccountability- Monitor and coordinate activities to manage preventative maintenance workload/ financials and make recommendations for improvement.- Track, maintain, analyze and provide current information on the operations business scorecard or key performance indicators (KPIs)- Perform analysis of the operations cost elements to ensure effective and efficient operations.- Prepare and analyze comprehensive and detailed reports- Develop, organize and present detailed performance reports for both internal and external use- May develop, implement, evaluate or lead projects or initiatives (e. g., business plan or process improvement initiatives related to financials)- Provide broad analytical support to the business unitQualifications- 4 year degree in a business-related field- Minimum 1 – 3 years of experience in a business related position- Thorough computer-based analytical skill (e.g. Excel, Power Point, Hyperion, database management)- Expertise in PeopleSoft and financial systems preferred- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills- Strong math and analytical skills- Ability to use spreadsheet applications and learn other specialized software products- Ability to work closely with peers in a teamwork environmentAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
