Custodian 3 PM - 11:00 PM

Job Description Starting Date: Immediately Position Type: Full-time Under general supervision, performs routine cleaning duties, directs traffic for protection of school children, and performs related duties as required. Employees in this class are responsible for the cleanliness of a section of a school building assigned to them and may perform other laboring tasks. Typical Duties Sweeps, mops, washes walls, dusts, empties wastebaskets and disposes of rubbish. Handles towels and other cleaning supplies, waxes floors, operates equipment to strip and maintain floors. Washes windows and blackboards, assists in cartage of supplies and equipment. Set up and remove furniture for special affairs. Shovel snow and operate snow removal equipment. Secure building after cleaning assigned areas. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of cleaning techniques and ability to learn them. Ability to understand and follow oral directions. Good physical condition. Qualifications Physical and mental ability sufficient to perform cleaning tasks. Job Requirements National and Local BCI required. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
